Our widget “out of the box” is a product that you can use immediately by placing it on your existing game, on your website or anything that you need it to be used for. The widget is fully editable, re-adjustable, multilingual (all languages are supported), units of measure are also auto-generated by the system (all the currencies are pre defined in your private space) and it is a complementary product that gives the player a full in-depth gaming experience. All you have to do is:

  1. Navigate to our GitHub repository (https://github.com/competitionlabs/widgets)
  2. Implement the widget on any of your games
  3. Create Competitions, Achievements, Tournaments in our back office for the player to participate in.
  4. Enjoy!

Display

Mini scoreboard

The widget mini scoreboard can display many features. The features are not limited to the examples. Here are a few examples which might be useful.

The widget itself is auto scalable, you can drag it around your laptop screen or your phone, it populates the data immediately and more…

Displaying the players rank and points on the leaderboard. Also available to show up to 3 players above and 3 players below in the leaderboard.

For the competition the player is participating in you can show the exact time that is left for the competition to end or if the competition did not start yet – you can show how much time is left for the competition to start. If the competition requires opting in (entering a tournament) a visual button representation can be implemented. Displaying the highest score that the player reached in this competition and the rank in the leaderboard also the player can preview his last achieved score.

Notifications

Notifications or pop-ups can also be implemented. If a new tournament is starting, if you got an achievement, if you received a reward or even if you went up a rank – anything can trigger a notification that can be displayed as a pop-up window of your choice or a simple value of new unread notifications on top of an icon/logo.

The possibilities are endless and you do not need to limit yourself with the examples. Our API makes the widget intuitive and automated. If the games the player is playing are specific to the tournament or achievements then the information that will be displayed in the mini scoreboard will only be populated for that specific game he is in unless shown otherwise. Eligibility to preview or restricting stuff is also possible and easy to use if you do not want to display content or some content is zone restricted.

Functionality

Within the mini scoreboard, you can access features that you are using within your environment.

Tournaments

Competitions and Contests are Tournaments that can be created in our system. Visual representation of the Tournaments can be adjusted to your liking. In our “out-of-the-box” widget the Tournament page displays:

  • time (how much time is left before the tournament will end or how much time is left before the tournament will start)
  • name and description (an information icon can be accessed for the description of the tournament)
  • leaderboard (displays ranks, icons, display names,  points, prize values)
  • upcoming, active and finished tournaments (populates the tournaments that are currently running, tournaments that will start and finished tournaments)

All the information that is displayed can be edited and can be readjusted by your needs – what is displayed, how long it will be displayed, restrictions and so on.

Achievements

The Achievement system is an accomplishment system where the player can preview his achievements that were created and generated specifically for the player to accomplish. Visual representation of the Achievements can be adjusted to your liking. In our “out-of-the-box” widget the Achievements page displays:

  • a list of created achievements that are specific for the player dependant on the restrictions
  • icons for a visual representation of each of the achievement
  • description of the achievement
  • progression bar of the achievement

All the information that is displayed can be edited and can be readjusted by your needs – what is displayed, how long it will be displayed, restrictions and so on.

Rewards

The Rewards section has all the rewards that were issued to the player from tournaments and achievements. The Rewards can be claimable or auto claimed. Visual representation of the Rewards can be adjusted to your liking. In our “out-of-the-box” widget the Rewards page displays:

  • claimed, unclaimed reward list
  • information about the rewards
  • the expiration time of the reward

All the information that is displayed can be edited and can be readjusted by your needs – what is displayed, how long it will be displayed, restrictions and so on.
